This piece illustrates a scene in a maple forest. The colors are typically thought of as fall colors, which are red, orange, and yellow. The piece is meant to fade along the bottom and seemingly reflect off the top of the trees. The main focal point of this piece are the trees. I chose to paint this piece because it was November when I painted this, and I could see the colors for myself.
